Existing Partnership with Pepsi-Co, Inc. Provides CCF with a Portion of Car Dealership’s Vending Commissions

For Immediate Release: February 26, 2004

NORWALK, CA - February 27, 2004 – Cerritos College Foundation announced today that Saturn of Cerritos has joined CCF in a Corporate Alliance, designating a portion of Pepsi-Co, Inc. vending sales commissions toward the non-profit foundation. CCF and Pepsi-Co have an existing partnership at other locations that have vending machines, including the Cerritos College campus.

“Saturn of Cerritos is pleased to show its support to our community and higher education,” said Kirk Benson, co-owner and fixed operations manager of Saturn of Cerritos. “As a neighbor to Cerritos College, we’re glad to know our refreshments also help local students receive scholarship assistance in their education.”

Machines located throughout Saturn’s Cerritos lot vend Pepsi-Co products. Apercentage of sales commissions from these machines will be donated to the Foundation’s general foundation fund.

“Cerritos College students stand to be even further equipped for their studies and their futures through our Corporate Alliance partners,” said Cerritos College Foundation Chairperson Nick Van Hoogmoed. “That such incredible support comes from our community is an added pleasure.”

Saturn of Cerritos is located off the 605 Freeway on Studebaker Road in the Cerritos Auto Square and employs more than 90 employees. Since opening in August 1993, the dealership has continued to be one of the top-selling Saturn facilities in the nation The Cerritos College Foundation, a non-profit organization, serves as a charitable vehicle for the community, individuals and alumni, to assist with financial support of Cerritos College beyond that which state funding supports.
